About d2build

d2build is a community proposal, not a protest.

We are Destiny 2 players who want the tools to build our own activities: strikes, encounters, puzzles, arenas, the things we have been sketching on Discord for years. This site collects signatures on an open letter asking Bungie for exactly that, and hosts a gallery where players publish activity concepts, so the idea is not abstract. You can see what the community would build.

Who runs it

[Your name], a Destiny player and software developer from Italy. No company, no sponsors, no ads. d2build is not affiliated with Bungie or Sony, and it makes no money.

Why now

On September 21, 2026, Bungie published "The Next Chapter for Bungie". The post said the studio is not done with Destiny, that it needs time to build, and that players' voices mattered. We took that at face value. If Bungie is deciding what Destiny becomes next, this is the moment to say, clearly and constructively, what we would love to help build.

The code

The site's code is not open source for now. That may change.
